Strong4Sean Scholarship
One way Sean wanted to give back was to create a scholarship to benefit students who have lost a parent. The $2,000 award will be made to a graduating senior from any Carroll County High School who has lost a parent and demonstrates some of the qualities which made Sean an outstanding human being including community service, courage, strength and perseverance.
Application Criteria:
- Applicant must be a graduating Carroll County high school senior who plans to attend college or a trade school
- Applicant must have attained at least a 2.75 cumulative grade point average
- Applicant must have participated in a varsity sport his or her senior year
- Applicant must submit a written essay indicating how he or she has managed to overcome the loss of a parent and become a successful student and athlete
- Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation (via email to lisabass@strong4sean.org), one from a teacher and one from a coach
- Application and essay must be submitted by May 18, 2018
